I'm here because i have a scrapbooking addiction, i just cant
get enough of it. I have 2 adult sons who are not always happy about me following them
with my camera a cat and dog who are more than happy to pose for me and a wonderfull husband of 30yrs . I am a screen printer by trade and have printed on T-shirts / paper
metals and vinyls, I think i have always loved playing with colours and creating.
I started scrapbooking in November 2006
My favourite layouts are heritage/distressed type layouts, I love to capture the mood
and fell for all things old but loved. Scrapbooking started out as a way to preserve my families history and grew into something much more. I love the social side, going to crops
and camps i get to meet and make friends that i would never have meet otherwise,
a sea side layout perfectly, I just painted it white and
when dry covered with dimensional magic
The frame I run through the cuttlebug for some texture
then painted it with acrylic paint. I also added a little
green on the swirls. Once dry I spread a thin layer of
dimensional Magic . Behind the photo is hidden journaling .
Thanks for visiting my blog. I hope you have found a little
inspiration in my work .
Have a fabulous week :)
I run the tree through the cuttle bug for a little texture,
the used primas glod spray, the we house is cut from a strip
of little houses and coloured brown using chalk ink.
I fussy cut the little birds from primas new paper line
"for ever green collection" these papers have lots of things
that can be cut out out which I love.
The reed on the right is such a fun piece to work with, and
is super for filling a space, I used Tim Holtz distress ink
"forest green" then I used a liquid glue on the ends and
covered the glue with tiny glass beads to imitate seeds .
In this photo I am playing around with different peace's to
see how it looks and coloring some of the bits I will use.
I am LOVEING the mushrooms ,so I made them into a house
for the little mouse you see there on the right.
The 2 trees on the right hand side I painted black and used as
part of the back ground
The unicorn I painted white ,then covered with super fine glitter
lots more fussing cutting along the front edge
Now these 2 photos are the same but I forgot to add the letter box
on the side ,see below, but the top photo was better.
The mushrooms I used acrylic paint, vintage red and vintage white
I used a dab of liquid glue and clear glass beads to make the
dots, the other mushrooms are fussy cut from the Prima
"forever green collection"
And here is my finished mini wonderland , full of butterflies
firns mushrooms and so much more. Thanks for taking the
time to check out our latest chipboard at Imagine If .
