White with 1-Feb

Hi, here is my take on this months white with 1 (Vivid Red)
I am trying to get all Tayahs baby photos done but thought Vivid red
might be to much for a baby's lay out, So I tried to soften it with white
lace , fussy cut flowers, berries, flowers and chicken from my Mintay farm life
papers. I all so used this months sketch from Page Maps for inspiration.

Thanks for the challenge. Hope you like my take on it.

Layout Family

In this layout I have used splashes of yellow to bring this layout to life, And to give it that
little girl feel I used a ballerina stencil with yellow paint mixed with gel medium. I also
cut up a scrapiniec chip board ( which I love) and painted it yellow to add that splash
of colour

Also I have doted some roman numerals around and a small measuring tape to the bottom left corner,
the word "family" inspired me to use this photo of my mother in law when she was a child growing
up in England during the war.

The paper I used was from 7 Dots Dreamer Collection. The colours I chose were Blue, Green and Yellow

This layout is the first one iv done in a very long time, so used some challenges to help inspire me.
I would like to thank the 3 challenge community's below .Also there are some close up at the end of this post.

Loves the sea

We have another great blog hop this week beginning
with Jo's project that can be found here: Imagine If
If you have come from Beths Blog your in the right place

This week I decided to do a masculine layout
I am loving the new Kaiser papers, im into the
old ruffed up look and these save me doing that.

I cut the top of an Imagine if clock key,
then cut the in half again, to give me a half
for the top and half for the opposite side
at the bottom. Then I inked them black

This is a little closer so you can see the gorgeous
viney swirl up the left hand side of the photo,
I just love these, they are great for filling gaps
and for adding a touch of softness.
I then cut a photo strip up so I had two windows
an put the other photos in them .

And lastly comes all the little bits and
bobs that help give it a story and make
it look great :)

Giveaway this week is

two new chipboard clock cutouts and a set of keys

From here you go to Brendas Blog in joy :) and good luck

in the draw  .

The winner of the stencils from last week is Brenda McKay, congratulations, they are
lots of fun to play with .
