OverLooked

Here is my take on the first "overlooked" challenge, i am a coffee addict lol, drink it non stop so

had fun doing this layout, although my journaling could have been better. I really love the colours in these papers.

NZ Dares

I love this photo of my son, every time i see it i smile. I made most of the clocks and hands,his friends decided to do a bit of hair cuting lol

Summer Days

I just love these papers from Fancy Pants, they are great for guy pages. I find most of the papers

look to girly with flowers or butterfly's and the others are really for very young boys.

SB sketch challange

This is my interpretation of Julia's sketch, the journaling reads .."Walk saftely through the maze of life, and remember obstacles can be over come" .

I had fun with this layout.

making patterned paper

This was my attempt at SBBD`s challenge "do a layout by making your own patterned papers,

I used black and cream card, the cream i used bubble painted wrap and stamps, the second piece

i colored with green chalk ink and stamped, used a black pen to do the edges.

cooling off

The last couple of nights we have gone down to the beach and paddled in the sea to cool off, Its

been imposable to get a decent sleep and even a cold shower only helps for a short time. I snapped hubby as he waited for me,if we had a high deck i swear i would pull my bed out there to sleep.

Lucky for me we haven't been to busy at work, as by 2ock im worn out and ready for my nana nap lol.

I like this one much better than the others, i think i was keeping them a little to plain so have
started to add a little more colour. Its like taking a walk down memory lane scraping these photos, D is 21 now and defiantly doesn't give his mum those yummy big hugs around your neck any more (sniff sniff) makes me a little sad.

Jan Setch challange SBBD

I love this picture, its pretty hard to get a photo of either of these two alone lol, I'm into circles at the moment so this sketch was great.

I also spent a few hours at the studio today and managed to do a few more of my 6 x 12 pages,
then it was back home to do some more cleaning !!!! does it EVER end lol

injoying the sun

The weather has been awesome over the new year period,i spent 2 days out in the back garden, well not full days lol i had to stop now and then because of the heat. I always fell so good and energetic in the summer (im definitely not a winter person) I have been working on my 6 x 12 album at night when its cooler but haven't done as much as i would have liked,I only have till Monday to make the most of my time of then it back to work ((((shudder)))))
Meet my sister at mums today, we spent the day out and about, i loved it as we don't do it often these days because we are so spread out.Looking forward to spending the day scrapbooking tomorrow
