Wont a challenge for easter weekend
Here's what i did with the sketch ,I'm using this for NZ Dares ( use a she saying)
"She run ahead where there were no paths..Celebrate her Bravery"
She came to nz on a boat from England that took something like 7 weeks to get here, she was alone and had a baby, she had come to nz to look after her sisters children as she had died in child birth, my gran had married a man that turned out to be abusive so she left him. Imagine leaving your husband back then let alone traveling all that way with a small baby not knowing what was in store for you, I think she was brave.

Heritage Layout
I have finally started doing my family heritage album, this is what i wonted to do when i first took up scrapbooking, i wonted to learn techniques and about products before i started as i didn't
wont to make a mess of it lol, i will be adding the journaling, as i need to talk to mum to get dates etc. Over all I'm pretty pleased with the look. I would love your comments and suggestions, especially regarding doing heritage albums. Thanks for taking the time to look.

In the pink
Not the best scan here! I don't normally use such bright colours, so it was nice doing this LO.
All the tabs pull out and have info on them. I wonted to make my own letters, so i got plain chipboard and painted it,then used some fancy pants rubons over the top of it, next a layer of dimensional magic, i just love the effect,I will have to experiment with some other ideas i think.

NZ DARE 40
This lay had to have the words "don't you love it" some where on the layout, also 200 words
of journaling,it was a bit of a rush to get this done in time and had a few mishaps lol but I'm happy with the finished look.

Auckland cup day
We went to the Auckland cup race day today. We were in the corporate tents right next to where the horses go by, what an awesome set up, the inside of the tents even have there own private TAB, the day was over cast all day, which wasn't a bad thing as it would have been to hot, we had a great day, great food (that just keeped coming) as did the drinks lol, they had race books , pen and a badge at every table.Even though i wouldn't know a good horse from a donkey i had a great time, had a few wins but think i came out about even.
