Heidis challenge #4

Well here's my take on Heidi`s #4 challenge over @ SBBD, thanks Kelly this one got me going lol.

About 6 years after hubbie and i married all his family came over from England for a 6 week visit,we had mum,dad, his bother and wife and there 2 girls,all of my family were living on farms or famlets, this saying "meet the outlaws become a bit of a joke.We had a great time and it was really great to have every one together. Thanks for popping by to visit.

I Love the colours in this new range,so warm and inviting,I always seem to cut something out

as an embellishment lol.

These Photos bring back lots of very happy memories,of to do a few more of these well I'm inspired.

Cards

I couldn't scan this it was to chunky, I have a friend i meet on the Internet about 7 years ago,

we keep in touch all the time by e-mail and now and then by phone,and send each other little bits and pieces as she is a card maker.Recently she found out she had breast cancer and had surgery last week,I promised to send her a card every week well she is recovering,Even though we have never meet face to face we are the best of friends,I wish i could just go over there (Netherlands) and give her a hug and tell her every thing will be ok.I will have to get more inventive with my card making maybe something light hearted to make her smile.

This started out as a challenge using paints,but i got this idea in my head and went with it,this was the end result.

SBBD April Sketch #2

Heres take number 2, these are really bad photos ,i managed to save a few, with this sketch you can get away with bad photography lol

Passion

This is SBBD April sketch challenge, and might i say it made me think lol, If you haven't already noticed my son is a real outdoors person and fishing is his first passion, the name "CRAYVING"

is what he has named his boat, he designed it himself,it was neat to see that side of him come out.

I did this layout for the weekend challenge @ scrap box , the challenge was to use a black and white photo,which was great because i have loads on them. I have very few photos of my Nana

Friday 18/4

Yahhooooo its the weekend at last. I haven't done many layouts this week so I'm felling
all inspired to get going as i have ideas bouncing around in my head SCREAMING to
get put on paper.

I received this in a E-mail and thought !! I Love this i just have to use this on a layout,so thought i would share it with you.

I did this for the "Kiwi jack me up" April sketch. The scan isnt square but its nealy 2am so it will have to do for now .

Weekend just flys by.

Well i haven't managed to do any scrap booking today!! BUT the night is still young lol,Today just seamed to fly by I worked till 1am went home had lunch then out to do some errands,when i got
home i made a huge pot of soup,some house work then had a wee lay down and woke up at 7.30!
I hate it when i do that but guess i must have needed the nap.My nights plan is of for a shower,eat then spend a few hours scrapin.

I was the lucky winner of this gorgeous kit from paperpesto, I cant wait to do a layout with this
Just look at the cool embellishments, I think this will work well with some of my old photos.
The chocky has been devoured already lol.

Sorry about the crocked scan! ok here's mt front cover of my 6 x 12 album. I am doing this for my sisters birthday, it HAD to have a cat some where lol as she adores cats.Would love your comments, do you think it looks OK or does it need something ells...... i am pondering. I may need to do something to the cat as i fell it is a little to light.

This is a wonderful childhood memory i have, the journaling reads: "Mum made jams and pickles,we used to go and pick your own strawberries,apples and plums etc, I think we ate as
many as we collected": She also blanched and froze vegetables like corn and beans but that wasn't as much fun because we couldn't eat it as we picked lol. Thanks for looking
