Well time to update, had a really crazy week this week, lots of dramas and rushing about,I am looking forward to Friday more than usual as i am of to the sky tower for dinner and then of to the casino for some small time gambling,[note to self...take camera]hehe, our social club organised it so should be a fun night. Also Friday is the start of "so you think you can scrap" competition over at scrapbooking by design,If you haven't

I spent about 2 hours tonight scanning and fixing old faded photos,the one above is me and my

darling before we were married, it was so faded you could hardly make us out,some of my old photos are still great , it must have been different process or coatings they used.So i am rapt that i can at lest save them even as black and whites. SB May Sketch challenge

I thought i would load the sketch with my take on it. I'm sure that some of the papers are slightly bigger than 12x12 because now and then i lose a little bit from the bottom,has anyone found that this happens when you scan?

Ok here is my card (no patterned papers) i did a get well card so tryed to make it nice and cherry.

SBO May challenge

This months challenge at SBO was to do a layout and a card using no patterned papers.

I have used old photos here so i gave them a lift by turning one into a cube and the other one

I cut out the people. I used blue and white card, paint,ink, stamps ,bling a couple of rubons and some chip board. I really loved doing this,the chipboard snow flake made it a little hard to get a good scan. what a great challenge.I will add the card later.thanks for

June Jack Me Up

Just an update, i was lucky enough to be chosen to find Junes "Jack me up" layout, and the one i chose is awesome, I love the way this lady scraps (sorry cant tell who till June) hehe my typing fingers are baned from naming the person until then.I have been doing my version tonight and will load it on the 1st, so don't forget to pop over to the" jack me up" site

I managed to scan a few old photos of my son, then zoomed down to harveynormans to get them printed of, being a wet day it was really busy so had to wait for some time before i got them,but here they are, made a little bigger and lightened, i have to be careful so as i don't lose the definition when i do that. Any wayzzzz this is my take on challenge 3 , to use at lest 70% of one manufacturer ( Basic Grey ). Thanks for looking :)

Here's my take on dare 44, i went hunting for my sons old sports photos but only found one worth using, i really need to sort out my photos and get some scanned in. Speaking of sorting!
