spring is comeing

Wasn't it a beautiful day today, shame i was stuck inside at work! but every break i was out side
soaking it up, its days like this i wish i was one of the lucky people that don't have to work lol
My mojo has been a little waning lately, i think a nice sunny weekend will do me the world of
good, so here's hoping it stays like this.

SB Olympics-cycling

Sketchbook Olympics challenge 1 cycling, you had to use at lest 5 circles on your layout,brads,paper, anything round.Also use dotty paper somewhere. This is my attempt.

NZ DARE

Here's my take .... some kind of sport

white with one colour

Hers a couple of layouts i entered over at white with one, Its actually harder than you think to scrap using only one colour. I also in rolled to do the cuttle bug class at SBS on the 4th, I don't own one yet so it will be awesome to see what they can do, so really looking forward to that.

5.30 am

Iv been up since midnight, my son had to be at the airport by 4am ,today hes of to Perth to
a new job, its a weird felling saying good by and not knowing how long it will be till you see each other again,now I'm wide awake but fell tired if that makes any sense!! The birds are already awake and singing. oh well new begings i guess . Of to do a little surfing then hopefully sleep.

sketchbook olympics # warmup

This is my LO for the warm up round, you had to chose a country (that wasn't taken)

then do a layout of your self using only the colours on that country's flag, I chose Mozambique

RED/GREEN/WHITE/YELLOW AND BLACK.

I only signed up at the last minute so ended up staying up very late to do this one lol

Apple of my eye

I had lots of fun doing this LO of my youngest son,the word apple is done with grunge board

and everything Else is from the kit i got from Paper Pesto, aren't those tinny apples so cute,

I tried to modernise the photo by cutting it into an apple shape, god he was just so cute as

a baby,so cuddly,I miss that but not the sleepless nights lol.

Friday 15th crop

Its been a while since i have been to a Friday night crop at SBBD, My mojo was a little lacking

i was more interested in chatting and seeing what every one was doing lol, Also i got to meet

the lovely Niella (Paperbutton) she made the cutest we pads all decorated and got to see a few

of her lovely layouts which was most cool .

I am so looking forward to setting up my scrap room i can hardly wait, then i might be able to find things at last.

Saturdays update

Hi all, just went to spotlight for some of the page products and what did i find there?
well they now carry basic grey stuff ! as usual i came out with more than i went for hehe,
So anyway today i am doing some more work on my altered book and hope to get the
Aug sketch done from SBBD,my son is of to Perth in 10 days so i am going to sort out my scrappy
stuff and move it so that i have more space, just need to get more shelves or something.

NZ Dare # 51

This dare is all about patterns, iv gone with dots, iv had this paper for awhile. I found i had

a few papers with dots so dots were it.

The Bossy scraper # 5

This is myself and my niece, taken the day i arrived in Fiji for her wedding, this is my take on this weeks "Bossy Scraper" My owl was supposed to have nice fluffy whiskers but looks more like a Baird lol. Thanks to Sonia for being the Boss this week, its a load of fun using the chat room and talking to every one in real time.
