A fully indulgent weekend at a luxury resort in the heart of the North Island. There isn't much that beats the extravagance of the Wairakei Conference centre in Taupo... that is unless the weekend is full of scrapbooking, pampering and ladies just like yourself - out for a weekend of fun, laughter and total indulgence!

Will have to check out when it has to be paid for me thinks

Week 5 sketch book

This week we had to do an outdoor adventure type layout, this is a old photo of my hubby and youngest son doing a bush walk in rotourua . I love these papers.

Bossy scraper 12

Here's my take on meeks bossy instructions, I used 1 piece of patterned paper, paint, stamps and ink, plan chip letters coloured with ink, grunge board arrow and skull, brackets and a white pen.

Well i have signed up for the sketch books retreat, I haven't been to anything like this so its pretty exciting. Iv also finished this weeks challenge for the Olympics but cant load it until Tuesday when they all go up in the gallery. And a little birdie told me that its the lovely Niellas

This challenge was to use "exactly 10" items in total, sounds easy right!! lol that's what i thought to until i started.

scrap room tidy

Well its done, I still have to keep some of the storage things in here but it defiantly is a lot easier and faster to scrap now, still wont a few more holders though lol.

Scrap room befor

I was inspired to sort out my scrap area after reading Kelly's blog, this is a tiny room that

collects and stores those things you don't need right now or don't wont to part with, I pushed

a table in there when i started scraping but now i have plenty of supplies i found it hard to find things... yes.... you can see why lol.

I brought a second hand wall unit (it was cheaper than buying shelves) then sorted things

into colours like buttons,beads etc it took me all weekend to get it back together in between

all the other things i needed to do. I have to say it is soooooo much easier and faster to find what I'm looking for now. I will post a picture tomorrow of the tidy version :)
