Wash Day-scrap the every day stuff

I got some gorgeous papers in my DT kit from scrapbook studio this month,and some cool fabric

which i have used for my "scrap the every day stuff" its about my wash day,i cut the fabric out and popped some pieces up which gave a nice 3D look.The little bird is from the "to crafty" range

Here's my second layout, the challenge for crafty tart was to use recycled products,I used the top of a pizza box for the back ground and the backing of a packet of prima de vines behind the photo,an old clock face and some twine of a gift i had. I nearly forgot to add the journaling which is a tag slid under the photo.
Still only have 2 points all up not doing to well am i lol.
I still cant load anything as i cant get photos of them,i really hate winter it gets dark so early,and i don't like the cold either............... Have a great day :)

We started Friday night of by joining in with the fortnightly crop,Nickie was also there Friday night but i didn't manage to snap any pictures of her and Heidie also popped in for a while on Saturday,I have to say it felt some what weird siting in the shop with our jammys on lol,but it was heaps of fun,i have a couple of things to upload but will wait for better light,due to lack of sleep im a little disorientated tonight lol so of for a nice shower and some dinner,and will update more later

Loveing Prima stuff

I am loving all the new Prima stuff,i decided to join in the crafty tart challenge,nothing like a good challenge to get the mojo humming along,for this one you had to use a page out of a book,I chose an old dictionary page and high lighted the words [Aunt...Sister of mother] I love scraping these old photos of my aunt.

I had to work today [Saturday] i haven't worked a Saturday for months and found it hard to get up and go lol. I am looking forward to our PJ party up at SBS, we are having a big girls sleep over with lots of scrapping,im sure there will be a few good photos to be had hehe!!

Also iv booked in for the sketchbook retreat in November,Cherie is also going so we get to be roomies again,we had a blast at the last one we went to.

Stunning gift

I got a wonderful surprise today when i got home from work, there was a parcel waiting for me and inside was this cute little box

When i opened it the first thing i saw was something gold and sparkly and a wrapped parcel,

When i opened the parcel there was a gorgeous bracelet, i love it,makes me fashionable hehe

And check out this tin,wooo wee, i cant stop looking at it,its stunning and so much work to make it.

This has to be one of the nicest gifts i have ever received,lots of hard work and love went into these,and that makes them something really special,and where did i get such a nice surprise from? a lovely lady called Sonia,she makes the most awesome stuff ,she paints,scrapbooks,makes jewelry,cards,altered art, the list gos on. Thank you so much Sonia,its so nice to receive such a wonderful surprise,and it was so much fun opening it,it was like finding treasure,I'm still smiling :)

SBS May sketch challenge

Here's my take on this months sketch at SBS I love scraping photos of the boys when they were young,i just wish the quality of them was better.

Mothers day surprise

I had a lovely mothers day,i went to visit my mum and we had scones with cream,my favourite,we had a lovely time.Then i headed back home,i got these gorgeous flowers and my son cooked dinner for us all,steak with a lovely salad that had all sorts in it and sauteed onions with mushroom's,it was really yummy . There`s my lovely flowers above,believe me this doesn't happen to often living with 3 men lol.
I have been working on some things but cant show them just yet,and I'm currently doing this months sketch by Sonia over at SBS,so will have some nice new things loaded soon.

Sorting scrap room

Well I'm nearly there,just a little more sorting ! And iv found the things I lost lol. I work much better with a nice tidy area that's for sure. I got my DT kit tonight and it has some really
cool new items in it which I'm really looking forward to trying out, so check back soon

WARNING this may SHOCK YOU!!!

Oh my Lord would you look at my mess???? lol when i scrap i tend to grab use and toss !!! and this is the result of my wayward ways, i have brought several things over the last few weeks and have NO idea where i put them,and you can see why! so today i am having a Major clean up,in reality it will most likely take me days or weeks to sort out this lot out. I will be making a call on the warehouse for some storage containers and tossing out stuff well maybe not tossing out just removing from my main scraping space.When i get into a mess like this i tend to loss my mojo,mainly because i get frustrated trying to find things. So here's hopeing in a few days i will have some photos to shear of my new found scrap area lol

New Stamps

I went to a demo night at Scrapbook studio last night,we had a play with some of the new stamps

and tried a few techniques, the card above is one we did,we stamped and embossed the doll then coloured her in,i would never have given these stamps a second look but now iv used it i think its kinda cute.

I'm not at work today,i have been felling of colour for days and not sleeping,last night i eventually went to sleep in a chair i keep in the kitchen with the heater going about 430 am this morning,then when my son woke me i had a head that was banging so hard i thought it would drop of.After a sleep today i am felling some what better but have a nasty cough now.

Any way i hope to tidy my scrap area this weekend as its a total mess!! post again soon,have a great weekend
