July challenge

ScrapBook Studio Challenge

So, what do you have to do? Follow these basic guidelines and you could be in to win! The winner will be chosen as a draw to be fair to everybody.
1. The layout must be 12" x 12" in size (i.e not 8.5" x 11", 8" x 8" or 6" x 6" etc)2. The title for the layout must read 'ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING!'3. The layout MUST include some creative cutting out of pattern paper on the page (small or large)4. The layout MUST include some fabric (does not mean ribbon, has to be actual fabric cut or ripped)5. The layout MUST include the use of at least ONE stamp somewhere on the page 6. The layout MUST include at least ONE piece of chipboard somewhere on the pageAs
long as your layout has all of these things, it can contain anything else you desire! So come on girls, find the right photo and go for it! this competition is open to everyone including Design Team members & Staff, everybody has the same chance so lets just have some fun with it! Lisa and her hubby will do the official draw, so lets go!!

DT June layout

This was made using my June,DT kit from Scrapbook studio.

The background paper is pink paislee starlight,I used a crafters workshop template down the right hand side, using some paint to get that cool pattern,i painted the circle with the same paint and added a few dew drops.behind the photos i used a strip of bazzill called trellis sugar cookie,i used Tim Holt's marmalade distress ink to make it look orange and bring out the embossing.The little fence in between the photos was cut out on the circuit machine as was the scroll under the bottom photo,i used the cuttle bug for all the cute words,then cut them out and distressed them with Tim's marmalade ink just a little to show the words.

The title was made using Pinkpaislee starlight alphabet stickers,added a few buttons and tucked a journaling card under the right hand side of the photos.

Hand made flower swap

name to the list We then chose a date to send them of to sue,who will send us one of each back.
Now theres some very clever ladies making flowers so we will get some great ideas for making
more hand made items for our craftiness lol .They can be as simple or as intricate as you like.
Some ideas: you can use:
paper......fabrice.....felt.....plastic.....pucnches,anything your heart desires,if like me you haven't tried to
make flowers,just use our good friend Google lol that's what im doing,i cant believe how many different ideas there are out there!!

awards night

Well i survived the night lol i didn't fall of my heels,We had a fun night,lots of glam and i got to catch up with some of my old friends from the print industry,which was really neat.Our company (Permark ind) did extremely well in the medal department,5 golds and i think 6 or 7 highly recommend, i lost count....go us lol. So today was recovery day,got up late,felling a little worse for wear so went back to bed and had another nap.I had my hair done for the occasion,and they put very fine glitter in it,so when i woke up my pillow looked like i had kindy glitz it hehe.
Any how,no scraping done today,and now i need to do some house work..ekk.
I have my DT kit here already to go so hopefully tomorrow i will get a start on this.

the news is

HEHEHEHE I'm evil arnt i Heidie lol well my news is, i have been asked to join the scrapbook studio design team,i was on it for 1 term but had to give it up as my life was a little out of control,
so now im all sorted and settled iv been given the opportunity to join the talented ladies again.
I'm looking forward to being part of the team again,just what the old mojo needs i think.

This is me at around 3 years old,i had scraped this photo way back when i first started scraping

and hated it,it just so didn't work with this photo.Now i am happy lol.

Long weekend ... love it

Hope every ones having a nice long weekend,even though its been windy and rainy I'm happy because i don't have to get up for work lol.

I have found it almost imposable to take a decent photo of my layout,just to over cast at the moment.I`v been having a play with some ideas for the ATC swap "DOORS" this subject intrigued me so i just had to join in.

I will have some news to shear with you soon,but not just yet lol I'm a tease arnt i hehe
