"SBS BONANZA SKETCH"

This is my take on the SBS Bonanza Sketch challenge , this is my older sister,shes soon to be a Nana woo hoo that means i will be a great aunt i guess! and there will be lots and lots of baby picks to do oh and albums as well,I'm so excited .

Bossy scraper 22-3-09

This is my layout from bossy scraper on Sunday night,Cherie was boss lady this week and did a great job considering the chat room keeped kicking us out for some reason!! We do this every Sunday at 8pm if you'd like to join in,check out the board here . This was perfect for these silly photos we took a few weeks back at work, what a bunch of posers lol .

DT kit: angels

Products used out of DT kit were: Scenic route rubons or the word angels : Card stock that i grunged up the edges of : Papers are Cosmo cricket,something special (red) ,something new (brown ),something old (lemon & grey) a sheet of rasberry schoolies (memo). Hambly angels.flowers were cut out with my cuttle bug using a piece of scrap.. Things i added ribbon,flowers,pearls, tiny lettering,basic grey brads with the words fun & time on them, stamp,heart charm.

thanks for looking. Hope you had a great weekend, the weather held out so i got all the washing done and dusted fast... leaving more scraping time :)

The every day- journey

This month we scraped about a journey we take every day or most days of the week, this is a small part of my walk home from work Monday to Friday. I had fun doing this layout, i tried to portray the felling i get when i walk through. Id love you to join in and show us a journey you do

Fishing friend

Check this out, my son took these today well he was out fishing, this guy decided to hang around and play......how cool is that. When hubby and i were younger we did a lot of diving and swam with dolphins a few times,they are so cool and friendly.....i miss those days, i couldn't even get into a wet suit now lol.

I haven't scraped tonight,i got home from work and felt sick,i think it was the heat today,it was so hot at work and its still hot now so I'm of for a shower to cool down and then finish of my layout I'm working on.

Sbbd March DT kit

I have distressed 1 piece of yellow card and 1 piece of grey card as the background,the curcle paper is Cosmo cricket ...something old, i inked the edge of this.Rubons are Hambly as is the overlay.I used scenic route carnival rub ons for the word "dream" .I stamped and embossed the numbers from creative acrylics ( i really like how they come out )
Other items i used were a white pen-lace-flowers-brads-ribbon and some bling.

A apple a day!

I love the look of this apple lol i wont to eat it! no really i did this for a mag,they wonted different shaped layouts so i went crazy and made an apple shape,Lisa kindly cut it out on her machine,

they didn't take this one,but did take the other one i did. I used a thin piece of card behind the paper to keep it flat.

I have finally finished my ATC`s it took me ages to get them finished this time,i just couldn't get motivated,i think i just had to much going on, I'm not happy with them but i did complete them all, that's all i can say.

We have had some awful weather the last few days..... it fells like winter is here already!!!

the only good thing about it is more scraping will get done.

of to look for my slippers i might be needing them tonight brrrr

March Sketch Challange

Three Bugs: Snips & Snails

Here's another layout using some of the three bugs(SNIPS & SNAILS) papers i got in my design team kit from SBS,

I started with a plain piece of card,then stamped a leafy pattern on it with water mark ink,I used the outside edge from the ribit paper and distressed it to make a frame,then i placed my photo and used the edge of a piece of card board as a stamp to frame it,i riped a strip of the big polka dots paper and placed it under my photo, the words down the side are out of the SNIPS & SNAILS sticker sheet, the number 2 is from creative acrylics , i wonted it to look more like wood or metal so i embossed it.I found some chipboard leaves and flowers i had ,added some leaves i stamped and cut out, a few brads and a piece of twine. This is a very old photo so its a little fuzzy,

I popped a piece of card in the top for my journaling. Thanks for visiting

I was thinking about how every day i do the same thing,but in reality its never exactly the same,so i thought we could do a layout about a journey you do every day of the week,or something you do on a regular basis. It maybe taking the kids to school, driving to or from work, Going to the letter box, Evening walk, catching the bus or train, Visiting some one . Why do you take these journeys?
