Egyptian cat box-Finished

Here's the before and after pictures.

I made this for my sister

She adores cats and is into Egyptian stuff,

Sadly she lost her cat a few months ago,but

has since got a new little friend from the

same breeder and he looks just like Pierre.

So i made this special box for his resting place.

I will be putting a tutorial up over at Birds Of A Feather

Here's my take on the challenge at Birds of a Feather

I had so much fun doing this Christmas card,I'm

making more tonight

Here is the inside,i used Tim Holt'z stamps and
and cut them out,the blank one at the bottom
is where i will place who its to.

November is my Birth month so i like to have a

give away.This lot has a mini album,rubons,stamps,

artistian,brads,bling,felt vine,alphas,tapes,flowers and more.

If this little lot looks good to you and you would like

I am actually still adding to this stash,so there will be some

Colour challenge

I love browns and greens,This weeks challenge

at southern girls is to use your favourite colour,

I also used a fabulous digital stamp from one of

our sponsors "Make it crafty" just gorgeous.

Arnt the mushrooms so cool,i am a paper and

glue kinda girl but these images can be used in

scrap booking so easily to add that little something

special

lost a hand!!!

I'm feeling a little lost.My son went on a 4 day fishing trip and wonted to us my camera,
I feel like iv lost a hand lol,i keep thinking il take a pick and then remember i cant.So nothing to show you for now but i have been playing with my new punches and Tim Holtz die,so maybe when i get my camera back i can share some picks.

This is such a cool punch,theres just

so many things you can do with this,

My mind is buzzing with ideas
One of the things i love most about scrap booking

is the wonderful people you meet,online

and in real life

In the past i haven't been impressed with punches

at all until i saw one used on a layout by

Lynne,after hunting around for one

the same and coming up empty,i contacted her to

ask where she found hers.She offered to get one for

me and send it up to me,how fantastic is that.So id

like to thank her for opening my eyes to all the

wonderful new punches that are available now.

80 Years young

Happy Birthday to my lovely mum

who turned 80 on the 24-10-10

she got a little teary eyed here.It was

a big day for her,we had uncles,aunts

and great grand children

There were lots of photos to reminisce over and

lots more taken,these are just a couple of snap shots
I have loads more on my cannon as it takes a much

better photo.We had 4 generations at lunch and

mum just LOVED it

She had a fantastic day,this is my hubby

and sons with me and mum,she thinks

my hubby is the best

Calling Doctor Scrap

Its made of leather and opens out

I had my eye on this bag for ages,but it was

Way out of my price range,when our local

scrapbook shop closed this was what i brought

when they had there sale.

Only problem is i love it so much i don't wont

to use it lol.It will be great when i head of to

scrap at Jodi's new shop here in Auckland

Iv been told,us scrapbookers HAVE to have a STASH,
Once you get a tattoo its common to get another,
thankfully he has them placed so if he needs to
he can cover them.Just thought id shear
this with you,looks rather painful to me lol

I did this layout using a sketch from " the little shop of sketches " Iv been lacking enthusiasm since the scrapbook shop that i used to go to closed,i think i am missing
all my scrappy friends and the inspiration that i got from them when i went up every Thursdays ..... SO i decided to buy a few new things lol yes that really does help the mojo, and went searching for a challenge,i don't usually use sketches but they defiantly help get you going when your craftiness deserts you. I also joined the DT for southern girls challenges, which is brand spanking new.

Any way i have a challenge for all you scrapbookers and of the page ers lol is that a word!! Over at southern girls we have had lots of fabulous card makers but not that many scrappers/ofthepagers......so to even up things a little i am going to give away a pack of scrumptious goodies to one lucky person . southern girls week 2 * Jewelery *

Week 2 challenge at southern girls is

Use a piece of jewelery,any thing,might

be from the $2 shop,or something you

don't wear,or even a special piece.

Its that easy

There were some great layouts and amazing

of the page/altered creations as well as lots

of cards last week.So let lose and get creative

I have used a small bird pendent (top right of lo)

SO its sort of anything gos,with a piece of jewelry lol

My scrapping place

Well its taking me ages to sort out my room

but here's where i have got to so far
I have sorted this lot papers,flowers,
embellishments and boxed up all my Christmas bits
together and all my masks and templates together.
Some of these iv been looking for since we moved lol


I now have a nice clear space for the cuttle bug and
an area to paint and let things dry..yay

Still have to sort out things like stamps etc so they
are easy to find and access.

CHALLENGE NO 1 is ..ON.......

No scraping this weekend

Well it was a long busy week and i was looking forward to the weekend,i haven't finished sorting yet and its back to work tomorrow.Don't you hate it when things
go awall.Oh well onward we go.
Just thought id let you know i probably wont get anything up on my blog this week,
But il be back and all sorted i hope lol.

This is my take on Ronda Pallazzari style,

I didn't leave my self much time to do this one

and it decided to rain for 2 days lol .

This is my mum and her sister,Friday night

shopping in queen street in Auckland.

spring clean!!! yea im early lol

I know its not spring yep BUT!!

My scrap area is in dire need of a good sort out

and tidy up,the flowers above were all

mixed up together,now look how pretty they

look and so easy for me to find.

Hmm this is some of my inks!!

Did i ever mention i LOVE ink lol.

These little baby's are next on the list

Now this mess is what i call my treasure draw

Not sure how much is treasure and how much

is junk lol.I'm a wee bit of a collector........

you know "i might use that on a layout ONE DAY"

I should be doing a layout as i have one due on Tuesday,yikks!!

So best i get back to my mess.I will update along the way,

maybe i will inspire you to have a sort to,or you might like

I Made the team woohoo

There a new challenge site called Southern Girls Challenge blog,I'm excited to tell you i am now a member of there very first D.T whipppyyyyyyyy lol, any one that knows me,knows i LOVE a good challenge,and so will all of you when you see the fabulous sponsors they have!!! Stunning photos

There is only one good thing about starting work

at 6am,and that's sights like this.I have a large

bay window in the kitchen,and when i got up to make

my coffee on Wednesday,this is the view i had,my

whole kitchen had this amazing pink tinge to it

And this photo was taken with livys camera,which

is WAY better than mine,i love how the water droplets

have been captured.I would really love a decent camera

Maybe Santa might bring me one if I'm very very very

good lol,it makes such a difference.Anyway just thought

id shear these with you.Thanks for visiting,please do leave

10 minutes old

This is part of the album I'm doing for my niece,Kale turns 1

in October so i wont to have from birth to his first birthday

all finished for her,well the first birthday part i will give to

her to add once hes had his birthday lol.I have journaled

this in her words,the rest of the album i have left for her to

journal .

SCRAPBOOK STUDIO ANNOUNCEMENT

Yes the Lun av shop is closing, I have been apart of scrapbooking by design/scrapbook studio since November 2006,its been my home away from home,pretty sad about it going,the first thing i do when i get home is make a coffee,sit down and check my e-mails and there it was in black and white.I have made some wonderful friends and meet some very clever people at the shop.I will miss my Thursday night visits for sure.
Just wont to say thanks for all the fun girls.

I Have a challenge for you

Now this style i enjoy,lots of ink ,this layout

was done in the style of ..Zarah Peterson,i loved her

use of splattering ink to,lots of FUN

Below is my take on

Elizabeth Kartcher......I found is hard not to dirty

up my layout lol her style is very clean,lots of nice

clean lines,although i do like the nice fresh look i created

The challenge for August...... is to create an ATC folder to hold your cards,atc swaps

are heaps of fun and iv collected a few now,i love receiving my swaps back,its so

amazing to see all the cool ideas up close,i use my cards for inspiration when

i wont to do something a little different,or use a new technique.I am giving away
