Hi, welcome to my blog, I just had to join in this month as I have a few very old photos to work with,
which fit this months More Than Words theme. And 7 Dots studios challenge, I love things from yesteryears. This is my Gran at age 16.

 

 

I used 7 Dots papers from writers block range, which work so great with my photo

July challanges

I Haven't had any mojo lately , its the winter blues I think, so I decided to join in on 2 challenges.

MORE THAN WORDS

And here is my take below .

 

I have done a beach them, using the word beach, the chipboard and paper has shells

 

 

I added art stones large and small to get the feel of sand,

also the colours lean towards beach theme

 

Scrap The Boys Challenge

Well its been ages since I did a challenge , I was checking out a friends lovely layout and decided to
join in the fun and make a card, using SCRAP THE BOYS  mood board.

 

Its a cute shaker card , I used water colours and for some reason

the bright green isn't showing to well.

 hope you like it .

Layout Family

In this layout I have used splashes of yellow to bring this layout to life, And to give it that
little girl feel I used a ballerina stencil with yellow paint mixed with gel medium. I also
cut up a scrapiniec chip board ( which I love) and painted it yellow to add that splash
of colour


Also I have doted some roman numerals around and a small measuring tape to the bottom left corner,
the word "family" inspired me to use this photo of my mother in law when she was a child growing
up in England during the war.

The paper I used was from 7 Dots Dreamer Collection.The colours I chose were Blue, Green and Yellow

This layout is the first one iv done in a very long time, so used some challenges to help inspire me.

New Studio

Hi , wow finally I can get back into my blog, I thought I may have lost it for good but happily that's not the case.

 This is what my new studio will look like, its nearly finished, just have to line the inside and paint it all. exciting .
