Welcome to the Imagine If mdf-houses-church-and-castle,Blog Hop

Welcome to the Imagine If - blog hop.

Join in and go in the draw for a fabulous prize pack.
And believe me, some of the girls work is truly amazing

If you've joined here you can start at Imagine If
the previous post is from  Lilian
and the next stop in the hop is Tash

This is what I started with

And here it is looking every bit like a church
I covered it with paper that is from the Kaisercraft
Base coat collection and looks old plastered bricks.
I then cover every thing using Tim Holtz .. frosted film

Check out the bell tower . so cool, I have set up a light in the tower
and also in side so it lights up at night.

I used a metal piece inside the round window
and also on the front door.

As you can see here, a little fuzzy. This is
looking through the round window above the door

If you look carefully , you can see the open book on the Alter.
On the inside walls I used the same range of paper but a
different pattern and colour.

I had fun building my church, and I know you will love it to.
Thanks for visiting, and enjoy the other DT projects.
Have a fabulous day
Carol :)

Hi, Today im shareing this fab photo box from Imagin If.

<a href="//www.pinterest.com/pin/create/button/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.flickr.com%2Fphotos%2Fmy_addictions%2F&media=http%3A%2F%2F4carol.blogspot.co.nz%2F&description=Next%20stop%3A%20Pinterest" data-pin-do="buttonPin" data-pin-config="above"><img src="//assets.pinterest.com/images/pidgets/pinit_fg_en_rect_gray_20.png" /></a>

I always get so excited to get started, that I often forget to take a before photo or a in progress shoot,

I really needed something close to where I always site to remind me of important things
that I needed to remember , like hair appointments birthdays etc. so this was perfect.

I covered the out side of the box with paper, then painted the inside cream and also the top (photo frame)
I then in bossed the inside using a  stamp..

The top I used crackle medium then painted black over that to get the old paint look,i in bossed one end and decorated
with flowers arrows and a wee angel . Hope iv inspired some one just a little today :)
Thanks for checking out my photo box .

A Card For A Friend ...... Imagin If DT project

Check out this cool little BOOT

I have used it on a card here

but it lends its self to many other things

I used some left over papers and other little bits and pieces

The verse is from Imagine If Quotes and Proverbs sheet

I would also like to share a box I made for my sister
these are a packet of cats I got from Imagine If.
you can find them here at Fix Design which is
part of Imagine If I had them cut in chipboard I
really love the fact that they are all different, which
worked perfectly on my box.

I panted them black  to look like silhouettes,

Then added them to the box I had just finished, Take note
of how the cats look, some are back on some
are side on, I just LOVE these .

Here is the box front on , my sister hand painted the china cat
and I attached him to the top of my box.

Thanks for visiting my blog. If at any time you would

like to know how I achieved a look, please just ask and I can

email instructions

Have a lovely crafty day :)

Steeping out .... In my "Imagine If" Boots

This is another Imagine If
boot, It can be used for many different things, its
heaps of fun to play with.
You start of with the above pieces . Now my first thought
was to make a book out of it but opted to use one half of the shoe only

I went for a fictional boot with mechanical wings just
for fun
.

Firstly I covered the boot with paper just down to the foot.
The foot piece I painted black. And added die cut cogs and attached with brads,
I added the pink and black trim down
the front of the boot and put eyelets in to thread my laces through.

Added some black fluffy feathers to the top of the boot and also
just in front of the die cut wings . Added a few extra bits here and there
and it was done .... walla :)
Thanks for visiting
